We are a relatively large brigade that trains every week, and is turned out to fires across WA and occasionally further. We are always looking for ways to improve and grow. New volunteers are always welcome, but at peak times we cannot begin the training process immediately.
The brigade started many years ago as a group of local farmers and residents, evolving as the area did, to where we are now as a modern active fire brigade, striving to be the best in the Southwest.
We currently have two fire stations, with two heavy tankers and two light tankers, supported by around 45 active volunteers.
